Our first international cooking holiday was such a success that we came back for seconds. (that’s funny because it is an eating reference; it works on two levels) So this time we chose Spain.
Now I know what you are thinking. Wow, you guys moved one whole country to the west. Well you know what? Fair point. But baby steps. We were not yet emotionally prepared for something as adventurous as the middle east yet. (spoiler alert)
So Spain it is. Much of the country is coastal and has influences from all over the world. Mostly because Spain sent over-enthusiastic explorers out all over the world to colonize conquer meet interesting new people and borrow from their cultures.
We were not sure what to expect but found interesting and flavorful seafood dishes packed with taste and surprisingly light on calories. I am certain this could be the next diet craze.
