Hello friends! Welcome to our cooking space. This is not a blog for profit, or even for traffic. It simply amuses us and our friends and family. Every year my beautiful wife, Teresa, and I pick a nation or region from around the world and create a Christmas day feast. We learn all about the country and hunt down traditional recipes and ingredients. We end up in grocery stores that we didn’t know existed in our town. And usually meet the coolest of people who are both amused and stoked that we are trying to learn their cooking culture.
We have zero kids (unless you count two big dogs), and no work today, my friends. Our presents have long since been opened and everything on earth is closed. So what else are we gonna do? Listen to more Bing Crosby? That’s enough, Bing. Take five. We use Christmas day to get our cook on.
It is 2-4 hours of cooking awesomeness and mayhem. Some years work out better than others. But we always enjoy the process. We put on some tunes, crack a bottle of something delicious, and just go for it. Along the way we started documenting the journey. For your viewing pleasure. You’re welcome.
Enjoy.
